Increasingly egalitarian work-family attitudes are credited with driving a “gender revolution.” However, employed mothers and caregiving fathers often still face negative social reactions. Doctoral student in sociology Reilly Kincaid will examine how factors such as gender, social class, and perceived job options impact perceptions of employed parents. She will conduct survey experiments and interviews for her study.
