Understanding America in the New Century: Analysis and Informed Use of the 2000 Census
The Foundation, in cooperation with the Population Reference Bureau will publish a series of 15 concise, non-technical census reports, each addressing one of the important questions about national life that census data are uniquely able to answer. The reports, each written by a recognized census expert, will be authoritative, but accessible to the general reader. The Foundation expects that any interested scholar, policy analyst, or member of the public looking for a cogent, reliable briefing on the findings from Census 2000 will turn to these publications first.
