Christopher Brogna - Chief Financial Officer

Christopher Brogna is the Chief Financial Officer of the Russell Sage Foundation. He has over 35 years of financial and management experience with not-for-profit organizations, beginning with organizing and managing the accounting and finances for what was the newly formed Central Park Conservancy in 1982. He then moved on to reorganize and manage the accounting and finances for the Altman Foundation, which had just grown significantly in assets and staff size after selling its sole ownership of the B. Altman stores. After 5 years with the Altman Foundation, he joined the Foundation for Child Development as Director of Finance and Administration, before joining Russell Sage in September 1996.
Brogna began his career in public accounting working for a number of large accounting firms, including Touche Ross in New York, New York, Seidman & Seidman in San Francisco, California and Price Waterhouse in London, England.  He is a C.P.A. with a B.A. and M.B.A from the Bernard M. Baruch College of The City University of New York.
