On Thursday, September 21, RSF, together with Columbia University's Center on Poverty and Social Policy, and The Hamilton Project at Brookings, cohosted a webinar discussion on policy takeaways from the COVID-19 pandemic for reducing poverty and promoting economic well-being for all moving forward. Author Zachary Parolin (Bocconi University, Italy, and Columbia University) presented findings from his new RSF book, Poverty in the Pandemic: Policy Lessons from COVID-19, in a discussion moderated by Jason DeParle of the New York Times.
Poverty in the Pandemic provides the most complete account to date of the unique challenges that low-income households in the U.S. faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
