David Card

David Card is the co-editor of RSF books Immigration, Poverty, and Socioeconomic Inequality (2013) and Finding Jobs: Work and Welfare Reform (2000). He contributed to RSF volume Working and Poor: How Economic and Policy Changes Are Affecting Low-Wage Workers (2006) and is an RSF grant recipient. He is Class of 1950 Professor of Economics at University of California, Berkeley and Director of the Labor Studies Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He was awarded of the American Economic Association’s John Bates Clark Prize (1995) and the Frisch Medal by the Econometric Society (2007). He is the co-recipient of the IZA Labor Economics Award (2006) and the BBVA Frontiers of Knowledge Prize (2015).
