Trends in Family Income: Bottom Four Quintiles and Top 5 Percent, 1947-2012 (Reported in 2012 $)
The Census Bureau has maintained information on family income since just after the end of World War II until the present, offering an unprecedented opportunity to examine long-term changes in income trends. These data show the upper income limits of the bottom four income quintiles and the bottom limits of the top 5 percent of family incomes.
