Summary

This study will assess federal policies impacting child poverty required of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023. A consensus committee of poverty scholars will review and assess the impacts of the federal child tax credit (CTC) and earned income tax credit (EITC) on poverty among children.
