Summary
Over the past decade, the shortage of new housing supply in American cities has emerged as growing academic and policy concern. However, research on the impact of new housing supply on racial disparities in neighborhood access and broader patterns of segregation remains limited. Doctoral student in City and Regional Planning Taesoo Song will explore how housing supply shortages impact racial segregation and residential patterns among Asian Americans. He will conduct interviews and analyze Census data for his study.
