Student Racial Justice Activism and Higher Education Reparations at Universities Founded Pre-Civil War

Some universities that were involved in slavery are grappling with the idea of reparations. Higher education scholars Juan Garibay and Amalia Dache will examine the extent to which student racial justice activism is associated with university reparations engagement for colleges founded prior to the Civil War. They will develop a dataset from media archives and other sources for their study.
