Arrested, Deported, and Returned: Reentry Experiences in the U.S. After Deportation

One in every ten deported migrants has previously been deported. For some, deportation is not an end-point event, but an ongoing cycle that includes multiple border crossings and unauthorized entries into the U.S. Doctoral student in sociology Angie Monreal will examine the reentry and reintegration experiences of deported return migrants. She will conduct semi-structured interviews for her study.
