Social media influencers (SMIs) capture attention, but the extent to which they affect political attitudes and behaviors remains unknown. Political scientist John Marshall will examine the extent to which sustained social media exposure to progressive political messages from SMIs affects political attitudes and behavior. He will conduct a randomized control trial for his study.
