Undocumented status fundamentally constrains, excludes, and marginalizes immigrants from nearly all domains and institutions of social life, including the labor market, education, housing, and health. Doctoral student in sociology Oscar Cornejo will investigate the long-term impacts of undocumented legal status for undocumented immigrants and formerly undocumented immigrants. He will conduct in-depth life history interviews for his study.
