RSF-Affiliated Scholars Named 2024 Andrew Carnegie Fellows

Nine RSF-affiliated scholars have recently been selected as 2024 Andrew Carnegie Fellows. The new fellows include Delia S. Baldassarri (New York University), David Broockman (University of California, Berkeley), Joshua D. Clinton (Vanderbilt University), D. Sunshine Hillygus (Duke University), Taeku Lee (Harvard University), Neil Malhotra (Stanford University), Lilliana Mason (Johns Hopkins University), Julianna Pacheco (University of Iowa), and Hajar Yazdiha (University of Southern California).
Delia S. Baldassarri is a former RSF visiting scholar and RSF research grant recipient. David Broockman is the recipient of multiple RSF research grants. Joshua D. Clinton is the recipient of multiple RSF research grants. D. Sunshine Hillygus is co-author of RSF book The Hard Count. Taeku Lee is an RSF-Gates Pipeline Grants Competition mentor, co-author of RSF book Asian American Political Participation, and the recipient of multiple RSF research grants. Neil Malhotra is a former RSF visiting scholar. Lilliana Mason is a contributor to RSF: The Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences issue “Immigrants Inside Politics/Outside Citizenship”. Julianna Pacheco is a contributor to RSF journal issue “The Social, Political, and Economic Effects of the Affordable Care Act” and an RSF research grant recipient. Hajar Yazdiha is an RSF-Gates Pipeline Grants Competition grant recipient.
The Carnegie Corporation’s annual fellowship program provides support for “scholarship in the humanities and social sciences that addresses important and enduring issues confronting our society.” The research conducted by the 2024 Class will focus on political polarization in the United States.
