Ten RSF-affiliated scholars have recently been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS). AAAS members are selected annually and are individuals with outstanding achievements in academia, the arts, business, government, and public affairs. Among the new members named to join the AAAS in 2022 are Nancy Bermeo (University of Oxford), Erica Chenoweth (Harvard University), Thomas DiPrete (Columbia University), Sherry Glied (New York University), Jennifer Lee (Columbia University), Shelly Lundberg (University of California, Santa Barbara), Mae Ngai (Columbia University), Manuel Pastor (University of Southern California), Nicholas Sambanis (University of Pennsylvania), and Min Zhou (University of California, Los Angeles).
Jennifer Lee is an RSF trustee, co-author of RSF books The Asian American Achievement Paradox and The Diversity Paradox, co-editor of RSF: The Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences issue, “Asian Americans and the Immigrant Integration Agenda,” contributing author to multiple RSF volumes, former visiting scholar, member of RSF working group on Cultural Contact and Immigration, and the recipient of multiple RSF research grants. Nancy Bermeo is an RSF volume co-editor and RSF research grant recipient; Erica Chenoweth is an RSF research grant recipient; Thomas DiPrete is an RSF author, RSF journal issue co-editor, former visiting scholar, and an RSF research grant recipient; Sherry Glied is the recipient of multiple RSF research grants; Shelly Lundberg is a former visiting scholar, RSF working group member, and is an RSF research grant recipient; Mae Ngai is a former visiting scholar; Manuel Pastor is an RSF author and an RSF research grant recipient; Nicholas Sambanis is a former visiting scholar; and Min Zhou is an RSF author and the recipient of multiple RSF research grants.
