              Summary
Despite being the fastest growing undocumented population in the U.S., undocumented Asians remain understudied and underserved. This invisibility is a product of racialized illegality that valorizes Asian Americans as the model minority, while criminalizing Latinx communities in immigration debates and institutional spaces. Doctoral student in education Siyue Wang will explore the experiences of undocumented Asian college students. She will conduct interviews for her study.
