For many in the United States, farm work is not only an occupation but an identity and a way of life. However, most sociological research about farmworkers has focused on the precarity of their daily lives as opposed to their identity. Doctoral student in sociology Natalia Gonzalez will explore farmworker identity and identity formation. She will conduct interviews for her study.
