No Excuse for Abuse

In this policy brief, we summarize what we know about the abuse of elders and people with disabilities. We look at the complex web of interlocking cause and effect that often lies behind the act, making it impossible to effectively help care recipients without also helping their caregivers. We also recommend steps that both employers and policymakers can take to alleviate the problem.
