Strolovich will examine what she and her collaborators call the "intersectional turn" in social and academic justice advocacy movements. Combining evidence from in-depth interviews, data from survey organizations, and content analyses of evidence from publicly available sources, she will focus on organization and movement agendas and activities in six broad policy areas; climate justice; immigration; anti-poverty and redistributive policy; health,disability and reproductive justice; LGBTQ+ rights; and anti-violence and the carceral state.
