The Russell Sage Foundation is pleased to welcome the new class of 2021-2022 visiting scholars (listed below), along with Margaret Olivia Sage scholars Greg Duncan, Ira Katznelson, Marta Tienda, and Mary Waters, visiting researcher Dara Strolovitch, and visiting journalists Clara Hemphill,  Tracie McMillan, Mosi Secret, and Melissa Segura.

While in residence, RSF visiting scholars, researchers, and journalists pursue writing and research projects of programmatic interest to the foundation at its headquarters in New York City. Among the subjects of the visitors’ research are race and ethnic diversity, immigration and immigrant integration, energy insecurity, the impact of high road employer practices, reformation of U.S. law and public policy, and the economy’s impact on life expectancy. The 17 visiting scholars for 2021-2022 are:
