This booklet presents the address of General George W. Wingate to the annual meeting of the Public Schools Athletic League held on December 7, 1909, in New York City.

It is a report of an address given before the Second Annual Convention of the Intercollegiate Athletic Association of the United States, in New York City, on December 28, 1907.
